Carlos Queiroz appointed as a Colombia coach for upcoming competition

Colombia have appointed former portugal and Real Madrid Boss Carlos Queiroz as new head coach for the side.

Queiroz who was replaces coach jose pekerman as they left the job after colombia knock out from the last 16 in world cup by England on penalties.

65 Year old Queiroz said that he would started the job and highlighted importance of colombia’s big name likes of James Rodriguez, striker Radamel Falcao and goalkeeper David Ospina.

“These players are the core, the soul of the national team,” he told reporters. “They are an important part of my analysis and my selections.”
