One of the Most popular and prestigious football events of the South America Region Copa America is set for their 47th Edition as Colombia and Argentina will be jointly hosting the upcoming competition. Upcoming Copa America 2021 is schedule to played between the period of 13 June to 10 July across the various stadium of Brazil.
Brazil is the defending champions of the CA2020. Total 12 National Football teams are participating in the Copa America but due to pandemic this time its been with only 10 teams. Australia and Qatar were slated to participate in the upcoming Copa América, which was postponed from last year to this summer due to the pandemic, but both national teams were forced to withdraw due to World Cup qualifying in Asia this summer. So this year copa America Edition 10 team tournament and its composed of two groups of five rather then two more teams. Eight teams will still advance to the quarterfinals, meaning that only one team from each group won’t move on to the knockout stages.
“As is tradition, CONMEBOL, at the time, invited teams from other confederations,” the South American confederation said in a statement. “However, the suspended matches and delays brought about by the pandemic that affected world football prevented other nations from participating.”

Copa America 2021 Revised Schedule, Fixtures
Argentina will be takes on Chile in the Opening Match of the American Gala Events on Copa America 2021 on 13th June. Complete fixtures of this American football events was confirmed couple of days ago as its change from 10 teams.
Total of 30 Matches will be played in 2021 Copa America Group stage while Quarter Final Match will be begin from the 2July.
Two semi Final Matches to be schedule to played on 5 & 6 July while Copa America 2021 Final is set to hosted by Estadio Metropolitano, Barranquilla on 10th July date.
